During a winter trip to Saguaro, we spent three days exploring the west district of Saguaro National Park. The best views of the trip came from this afternoon hike up the Gould Mine Trail where we could see cactus spreading out over the valley with mountains in the background,

I am a photographer currently living in Athens, GA, but I prefer to be found in the woods. Or swimming with sea turtles. My photography centers around National Parks and wilderness areas with a broad range of regions, including the Smokies (the closest park to me), California (Joshua Tree, Death Valley), the West (Zion, Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce), and the Pacific Northwest (Redwoods, Crater Lake, Mount Rainier). I visit 5-20 parks every year and countless other recreational areas.
