Watching the container ships float down the river is one of the simple pleasures in Savannah, Georiga. They are like city blocks slowly moving across the skyline. I thought I might try and give them some speed with this long exposure and I'm quite pleased how it turned out.
I am a photographer currently living in Athens, GA, but I prefer to be found in the woods. Or swimming with sea turtles. My photography centers around National Parks and wilderness areas with a broad range of regions, including the Smokies (the closest park to me), California (Joshua Tree, Death Valley), the West (Zion, Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce), and the Pacific Northwest (Redwoods, Crater Lake, Mount Rainier). I visit 5-20 parks every year and countless other recreational areas.
