Back when my wife and I were dating, she planned a camping trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway. This area around the Linn Cove Viaduct became one of our favorite places for a mountain getaway. This year we made last minute plans for a fall getaway and were rewarded with a beautiful autumn display.

I am a photographer currently living in Athens, GA, but I prefer to be found in the woods. Or swimming with sea turtles. My photography centers around National Parks and wilderness areas with a broad range of regions, including the Smokies (the closest park to me), California (Joshua Tree, Death Valley), the West (Zion, Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce), and the Pacific Northwest (Redwoods, Crater Lake, Mount Rainier). I visit 5-20 parks every year and countless other recreational areas.
