At the end of a long day of exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway in early fall, we pulled over to a lookout to watch the sunset. We thought we had missed it but I had just enough light to catch the layers of the valleys behind the leaves beginning to change.
About Kelly VanDellen
I am a photographer currently living in Athens, GA, but I prefer to be found in the woods. Or swimming with sea turtles. My photography centers around National Parks and wilderness areas with a broad range of regions, including the Smokies (the closest park to me), California (Joshua Tree, Death Valley), the West (Zion, Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce), and the Pacific Northwest (Redwoods, Crater Lake, Mount Rainier). I visit 5-20 parks every year and countless other recreational areas.
