Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. We were on our way home from our first trip to Cuyahoga Valley and Indiana Dunes National Park when we decided to route through the Smokies. We had made the trip to see fall colors and even though we thought it might be a little early for the southern park, we figured we'd take a peek. As soon as we got home from this trip, I booked another campsite to go back up and shoot more of the colors.

I am a photographer currently living in Athens, GA, but I prefer to be found in the woods. Or swimming with sea turtles. My photography centers around National Parks and wilderness areas with a broad range of regions, including the Smokies (the closest park to me), California (Joshua Tree, Death Valley), the West (Zion, Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce), and the Pacific Northwest (Redwoods, Crater Lake, Mount Rainier). I visit 5-20 parks every year and countless other recreational areas.
